Inbound 2019 . . . Let's do this . . .

For many of us Inbound can be overwhelming . . . in the old days there used to be a Partner track for the whole of Inbound but now there is one whole day dedicated to agency specific topics and then the full event for another 2 and a half days.

You can look up the agenda here - Partner Day Agenda

The following talks on the agenda are interesting to me . . . Integrations, Bots, Platinum to Diamond in 4 months, Prospecting Sucks, Client Services to Customer Success, Using Freemium - Rich from Six & Flow.

I am on a panel in the afternoon about Building a Successful Work Team

Inbound

First night Elizabeth Gilbert - lets meet up - drop me a line.

Hopefully you are not going alone and you can divide up all the talks that are on but if not don't stress you can make a note of what you would like to read/watch afterwards as many are recorded.

Pick a theme - People, Video, Content, AI & Chat, Sales, Services - Integrations & Future Agency

Who do you want to meet up with? Why? Organise a time and place now - what do you want to talk about and what can you offer them?

Comfortable shoes and warm clothes for inside . . . don't bring a bag too big this year - no coat check.

The big talks not to miss are . . .

Keynote - Brian and Darmesh - 2.30pm on the Tuesday

Closing Keynote - Chip & Joanna Gaines end on Friday

Lets break down the themes . . .

Now the temptation of getting so excited like a fizzy coke bottle and going back into your agency full of new ideas is very strong . . . I suggest you don't put your head down to finish out your year with solid sales and results for your clients make some small tweaks.

Get your ideas down as you go along and summarise as if you were explaining to a child - 3 to 5 points. How would you action them in your agency? Then the hard part . . . park them - get back to your day to day agency work. Take the list out again at the beginning of the year, review them and pick a short list to discuss with your management team - then decide on one or two. Complete the following checklist to flesh out your idea and only then present and implement with your whole team.

Most importantly have fun next week, if you are having a great conversation with someone don't cut it short to sit in a talk, ask them if they would like to join you or stay and watch the recording/read it later.

If you would like to meet up and talk about what's keeping you awake at night in your agency - I would be happy to chat - drop me a line - clodagh@growitgroup.com

Safe travels,

Clodagh
